Here is a spooky story, just in time for Halloween!

It's that time of year again; time for spooky stories of horror that will scare the bajeebus out of you!

...It was a dark and stormy night, and all manners of creepy, crawly nightmares are walking the street. Our friend Bob just got notice that he must, once again, go outside and change the gas prices on the stations manual pricer board.

Bob grabs all the plastic digits he needs, his "trusty" ladder and a long pole with a suction cup attached.

Our luckless hero must brave the bad weather, slippery rungs on his ladder, and potentially falling plastic digits with sharp edges. It's a scene straight out of a horror movie.

“Changing those numbers one at a time was hard and dangerous work,” recalled Eddie Osmond, owner of Marathon Fuel Stop in Wixom, Michigan. “Worst job here; it could be cold and raining and the numbers would freeze or crack and fall on you. And motorists would often drive by and yell at whoever was making the changes. People were so frustrated with prices—they even yelled when prices were going down.”

Why must Bob subject himself to the horrors of manually changing the price of gas at his fuel station? It's safe to assume Bob would be safer and happier by upgrading to LED Gas Price Signs, and changing the price of his signs from the safety of his office.

Happy Halloween!
